Cultural Visits for Parents and their Infants and Toddlers
Interested in visiting that new art exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery or a classical music concert, but have a young child who may be less keen? You and baby should join us once a month for a museum exhibition tour or musical concert, in and around Vancouver! Geared towards creating an enriching experience for both parents and children, each event will be the perfect chance to do something a little different.
Most events will be scheduled so that we parents have the place to ourselves. Earlier visits mean that we can wander around with a gurgling (or screaming!) babe without any worry of disturbing other patrons. Ditto for an exclusive concert or lecture intended solely for new parents and their tots.

Upcoming Events:
On Friday, June 21, at 10am, we will have a tour of two smaller exhibitions at the Burnaby Art Gallery: Shinsuke Minegishi, a local printmaker whose contemporary work takes influence from western and Japanese printmaking and Shifting Margins: Emily Carr and Irene Hoffar-Reid. The Burnaby Art Gallery is set in picturesque Deer Lake Park, with a lovely walk around the lake and a playground, just outside the gallery. Tickets cost $15 for adults and tots are free.
On Wednesday, July 10, at 10, we will have a tour of a new exhibition at the Richmond Art Gallery, featuring two films and an installation by Turkish artist, Esra Ersen. This will be our first visit to the Richmond Art Gallery, and we are looking forward to exploring the gallery, located in the Richmond Cultural Centre, just a short walk from the Richmond-Brighouse Skytrain stop. Tickets cost $15 for adults and tots are free.
